How to create a testimonial page using Elementor

Assuming you have installed Elementor on your WordPress, create a new page (Pages -> Add New) for your testimonials and click the Edit with Elementor button to edit your page with Elementor.

Before getting started to add the testimonials, set the layout of your page first. Elementor offers three page layout:

  • Default: Default page layout from your theme. This layout contains header, footer and sidebar according to the current theme you use.
  • Elementor Canvas: No header, no footer, no sidebar. Just Elementor.
  • Elementor Full Width: Similar to Elementor Canvas but includes header and footer.

To set the page layout, you can click the gear icon on the bottom of the elements panel. On the Settings tab, scroll down to the Page Layout section. On this example, we use Elementor Canvas.

You are ready to add the testimonials by now. First off, add a new section by clicking the plus button on the Elementor editor. Elementor offers 12 content structures you can choose from. Choose the one suits you most. On this example, we are going to create a testimonial page with three columns structure.

Once you have selected the content structure, click one of its columns (if you choose structure with more than one columns). Select the Testimonial element on the elements panel and drag it to the column.

Replace the default content with the testimonial you want to display. As you can see, you can also upload the image of your consumer whose you will display his/her testimonial. Change the default name (John Doe) with the name of your consumer. Also change the default title according to the title of your consumer. If you want, you can also add his/her link (website, LinkedIn page, Twitter profile etc).

Once you are done adding the content, you can change the appearance of the content. To do so, you can switch to the Style tab. Here, you can change the font style as well as the text color of your content (testimonial), set the image size, change the font size as well as the the text color of name and title.

To change the background of the testimonial, adding motion effect and making other advanced settings, you can switch to the Advanced tab.

If you chose content structure with more than one columns, you can simply copy the first column and paste it to the second column or third column and change its content. This will shorten your workflow.

Once you are done and satisfied with the result, you can publish your page by clicking the PUBLISH button on the bottom of the elements panel. You can also preview your page first by clicking the eye icon.

Following is the example of the testimonial page we created.
